Role summary
This is a one-year fixed-term secondment opportunity within the Cardiac Assessment Team (CAT) to cover maternity leave. The role involves developing advanced clinical assessment skills in cardiology and managing a dynamic workload with significant autonomy. The successful candidate will provide clinical support to the team, assisting with assessment and treatment of various cardiac conditions and implementing the ATLAS pathway.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to existing team members regarding assessment and treatment of a dynamic and evolving workload.
- Assist with the implementation of the ATLAS pathway.
- Assist with assessment and treatment of acute coronary syndrome patients.
- Assist with assessment and treatment of patients with new-onset atrial fibrillation.
- Assist with assessment and treatment of patients with chest pain of unknown origin.
Essential criteria
- Five years', NMP and physical assessment skills preferable.

Job summary
