Role summary

  • Experience of acting as Responsible Pharmacist in a Dispensary
  • Experience of working in a hospital pharmacy
  • Experience of using JAC pharmacy computer system
  • Experience of using prescription tracking systems
  • Experience of working in an automated dispensary environment
  • Accredited for locally commissioned enhanced services, e.g. EHC, Minor Ailments, health checks and running extended services
  • Pharmacy management experience
  • Skills and aptitudes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills - must be able to recognize and overcome barriers to understanding e.g. language, deaf, learning difficulties
  • Strong ability to multi -task, prioritise plan and organize
  • Demonstratble commitment to CPD and a member of the GPhC
  • Fluent written and spoken English including good numeracy
  • Clean DBS or able to pass one when required

Job summary

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the management and the provision of exceptional professional pharmacy services. The focus of your role will be to act as Responsible Pharmacist, provide support to the Superintendent Pharmacist, the rest of the pharmacy team and support the development of the business.
