Role summary
This is a fixed-term opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Solihull Community Respiratory Team for one year. The role involves providing specialist assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients with respiratory conditions across various settings, including community venues, hospital sites, and patients' homes. You will work flexibly to support respiratory outpatients, community services, and pulmonary rehabilitation programmes, aiming to improve patients' independence, function, and quality of life.
Essential criteria
- \\* Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- \\* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- \\* Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD),including recent postgraduate training relevant to the clinical speciality.
Desirable criteria
- \\* Member of specialist interest group.
- \\* Attendance at Clinical Educators course.
- \\* Demonstration of clinical experience enabling the post holder to manage a caseload of patients within the speciality.
- \\* A specialist knowledge across a range of Occupational Therapy treatments,routine and non-routine requiring expertise within the field of occupational therapy.
- \\* Experience of working with student occupational therapists and therapy support workers.
- \\* An ability to analyse clinical and non clinical complex facts and situations, which require the interpretation and comparison of a range of options.

Job summary
