An opportunity has arisen for an experienced technician to join the multi-disciplinary Assistive Technology (Wheelchair and Seating) team based within the TORT Centre at Ninewells Hospital. This is a full-time permanent position.
Wheelchair technicians prepare new wheelchairs for issue to patients, repair and maintain a wide range of manual and powered wheelchairs as well as specialist postural systems. They also provide technical assistance during the assessment, design, manufacture and delivery of specialist rehabilitation equipment including wheelchairs and seating systems.
