Role summary
This is a Part-time Team PA role within the admin team at The Chichester Centre, a low secure mental health unit. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the clinical team and team lead, as well as supervise the administration team. The role requires strong organisational and IT skills, flexibility, and excellent communication to support dedicated clinical staff in providing patient-focused care. Opportunities for training and professional development are available.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Undertake responsibility for the day-to-day management of administrative, clerical and secretarial functions.
- Plan and minute key meetings as well as ad-hoc meetings.
- Maintain patient records, key data and group mailbox.
- Supervise junior staff and order clinical and stationary equipment.
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent practical experience
- RSA 3 or equivalent experience and evidence of further practical experience
- Good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
- Extensive knowledge of a full range of secretarial procedure
- Knowledge of software programmes / packages
- Previous experience in a similar role

Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Part Time Team PA to join the admin team at The Chichester Centre, a low secure mental health unit in Chichester.
You will be working as an administrator for the Forensic Healthcare Service where you will use your skills to support highly skilled and dedicated clinical staff from a multitude of backgrounds including doctors, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers, to help ensure that we continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the clinical team, including the team lead, as well as supervision and leadership of the administration team at The Chichester Centre.
