The Estates Department is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Multi-Skilled Operative (Plumber) to join our dynamic team at West London NHS Trust.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the trust's estate is compliant, safe, and fit for purpose. You will play a crucial role in making sure that our buildings and infrastructure meet the Trust's current and future clinical and operational needs.
Main duties of the job
\- Service, test, diagnose and repair faults in installations, plant and equipment with respect to mechanical and plumbing services as well as relevant electrical and electronic services.
\- Understand the working of electrical, electronic, mechanical and plumbing systems in all areas.
\- Carry out analytical and problem solving techniques and document results.
\- Plan work; prepare schedules of materials and parts, using O & M manuals where appropriate, to effect repairs and / or maintenance.
\- Carry out reactive work requests, minor new work requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently, to performance targets and with minimum disruption to staff and patients.
