Role summary
This role involves delivering high-standard nursing care to patients undergoing neurorehabilitation. The post holder will assess patient care needs, implement, and evaluate care programmes. They will work as part of a team committed to improving nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, working across professional boundaries to provide comprehensive healthcare.
Key responsibilities
- Take clinical responsibility for patients within your allocated area of work.
- Continuously assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment, using appropriate programmes/methods of care.
- Ensure a high delivery of quality care in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional conduct and scope of professional practice and maintain own NMC registration.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and all levels of staff.
- Ensure records and documentation are maintained, kept confidential, and meets professional NMC guidelines.
Essential criteria
- First Level RGN
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing/Health studies
- NMC Registration
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the nursing process
- Able to efficiently plan and allocate work
- Able to manage time effectively
- Demonstrates knowledge of clinical audit and clinical effectiveness
- Demonstrate an understanding of Equality and Diversity
