An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and supportive Medicines Information (MI) team within the Pharmacy Department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The Grampian Medicines Information Centre handles a large volume of complex medicines-related enquiries each year, providing evidence-based advice to support safe and effective patient care.

You will play a significant role in the provision of a high-quality Medicines Information service to all healthcare professionals in any setting across NHS Grampian, NHS Shetland and NHS Orkney. You will provide teaching and training to local pharmacy team members, have a clinical duty on a ward within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, answer medicines-related enquiries and support the development of guidelines and policies.

You will be supported to undertake the Medicines Information and Advice Training Programme (MIATP) for Pharmacy Technicians if not already completed, to become accredited in
