Role summary

Join a friendly and inclusive team in a UKAS accredited, busy, diagnostic Cellular Pathology department as an Associate Practitioner. This role involves microtomy, embedding, audit, dissection assistance, and other laboratory duties. The team supports ongoing development and values input from all members to continually improve the service. A working knowledge of the Human Tissue Act, histopathology laboratory procedures, excellent IT skills, and experience with laboratory computer systems and quality management systems are advantageous.

  • NVQ III or the equivalent level of knowledge and experience

  • Level 4 Apprenticeship in Healthcare Science
