Role summary
This is a part-time, fixed-term Community Nursery Nurse position within the Flying Start Health Visiting Service in Bethesda, North Wales. The role involves supporting Health Visitors in delivering health promotion, implementing care programmes, and undertaking health and developmental assessments for families. The post holder will work autonomously to assist in managing and delivering care to clients, focusing on child-related information and supporting families with complex needs.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Community Nursery Nurse to join our Flying Start Health Visiting Service in Bethesda, North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
The post holder will facilitate one to one, group and community work that aims to address health inequalities in partnership with the wider multi-skilled team. They will take a key role in delivering parent support, health promotion and programmes of care. They will provide a service to families as identified in the needs assessment carried out by the Health Visitor and undertake packages of support through implementing and evaluating planned programmes of care. In addition, the post holder will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives.
