Role summary
This role is for an experienced Administrator to join the UCLH Integrated Care Operations (ICO) service. The administrator will provide high-quality administrative support to the Administrative Service Manager, Senior Nurse, Head of Integrated Care Operations, and Nurses within the ICO. Key responsibilities include data collection, recording, analysis, and maintaining databases. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Knowledge of the full range of administrative procedures, acquired through training and previous experience of working in an administrative environment.
- Awareness of the requirement to maintain confidentiality, and knowledge of the Data Protection Act.
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration, Customer Service, Healthcare Support Services or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrable knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures at a high level of competence acquired through both training and experience
- Proven experience of working in an office environment, resolving queries and using initiative to ensure first-class service delivery.
- Previous NHS or healthcare experience, or experience of working in a healthcare setting
- oEvidence of leading a team

- Able to identify risk issues in immediate working environment and correct where possible or report to manager

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our friendly, professional and motivated team in the UCLH Integrated Care Operations (ICO) service. You will be a valued member of the current administrative workforce, working closely with the various teams within the service and providing a high-quality level of administration service to the Administrative Service Manager, Senior Nurse, Head of Integrated Care Operations and Nurses within the ICO. The successful applicant must possess a high level of IT skills and be proficient in the collection, recording and analysis of data. Applicants must also have experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team as this is a responsible and varied post with an important role in providing continuity of the service. Excellent communication skills are a must.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include the production of daily, weekly and monthly reports to evidence the workings of the teams, the maintenance of databases to ensure they are meeting the needs of the service and the reliability of the data, minute taking, diary management of the Senior staff and the provision of support across the service as/when required
