Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to join the colorectal cancer nurse specialist team. The role involves working collaboratively with the Colorectal Multidisciplinary Team, providing clinical expertise and assessing care needs for patients with colorectal cancer, particularly those with metastatic disease. The specialist will act as a key worker, coordinating care and offering ongoing support to patients and their families. They will also assist in the operational management and service delivery of the Colorectal Oncology Service.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse or nurses to join the current small team of colorectal cancer nurse specialists. we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate individuals who are looking to develop their skills cancer nurse specialists. we are happy to consider full time or job sharing opportunities.
The band 6 oncology colorectal cancer nurse specialist will work in collaboration with the wider Colorectal Multidisciplinary Team, providing clinical expertise and assessment of care and health needs of patients with colorectal cancer conditions, and their families. Day to day, they will work alongside the B7 oncology colorectal cancer nurse specialist acting as key worker to patients receiving treatment for a colorectal cancer. The majority of the patients will have metastatic disease. They will work to co-ordinate care and provide easy access to treatment and on-going support for this group of patients.
They will be assisting with the efficient day to day operational management and service delivery of the Colorectal Oncology Service in partnership with the MDT consisting of Consultants, AHP's, support workers and pharmacists. They will have close liaison and communication wit
