Role summary

This role involves working as a CAMHS Practitioner within a dynamic and expanding service in North Derbyshire. You will manage a caseload of complex young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders, conducting assessments and implementing therapeutic interventions. The position requires a qualified healthcare professional, social worker, or accredited therapist, offering opportunities for professional development and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team.

Essential criteria

  • Relevant professional qualification eg nursing, social work, OT or other allied health professional with relevant mental health experience and valid/current registration with the associated professional body eg NMC, HCPC, SWE, BACP

Desirable criteria

  • Training in provision of Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy
  • Training in provision of Systemic Family Therapy
  • Post registration experience working within Child, Adolescent Mental Health or other relevant setting.
  • Experience of mental health assessments and the implementation of a wide range of therapeutic interventions
  • Ability to manage a caseload autonomously
  • Experience teaching/training students and/or other disciplines
