Role summary
This role is for a full-time Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant to join the Adult Eating Disorders team at Cotswold House Marlborough, a 12-bedded mixed-gender ward. Key responsibilities

Essential criteria
- Demonstratable experience of Providing Care in a mental health setting
- Demonstratable experience showing the ability to support & motivate patients.
- Ability to normalise appropriate eating behaviours by role modelling and supporting patients at snack and meal times.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors and an emotional robustness
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working with people with eating disorders.
- Experience working within the NHS
- NVQ Level 3 / Care /BTEC Health & Social Care qualifications or equivalent
- Passes in GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English

We are looking for a full time Support Worker to join our passionate team, working alongside nurses, doctors, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, and dieticians, to make a real difference.
Cotswold House Marlborough is a 12 bedded mixed gender ward which offers inpatient and day patient treatment to adults with an eating disorder.
We have a skilful and dedicated MDT team including nurses and HCAs, and within this team you will be directly involved in the assessment, care planning, and delivery of treatment. Each patient has a dedicated care team whom works closely alongside colleagues to support the individual patient. You will also assist in other ward and team duties as directed by the registered nurse.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
