Role summary
This role involves co-supervising Soft FM services, including cleaning, catering, and linen management, at an agreed location. You will be the primary contact for customer issues and will deputise for the Site Supervisor. Responsibilities include ensuring high standards of cleanliness, managing food service delivery, and overseeing Soft Facilities Assistants. You may also undertake direct FM duties like cleaning and food preparation, and will have patient contact.
Key responsibilities
- Co-supervise Soft FM services (cleaning, catering, linen/laundry management) in an agreed location.
- Act as the primary customer contact for Soft FM related issues.
- Deputise in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
- Support the management of Soft Facilities Assistants providing cleaning and catering services.
- Ensure all areas of the site are maintained at an excellent level of cleanliness.
- Ensure food service to wards is delivered appropriately and timely.
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- NVQ 3 / Diploma (or relevant appropriate experience)
- CEBOSH / NEBOSH certificate (willing to complete or appropriate 'on the job' experience)
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Effective Communication Skills - verbal and written
- Computer literate
- Methodical and organised approach and organisational skills
- Knowledge of estate and procurement systems
- Ability to analyse service problems and identify a range of possible solutions
- Experience in similar role within NHS
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements

Job summary
