Role summary
This role involves providing highly specialised assessment and intervention for outpatients with Pelvic Health conditions, including complex presentations like pelvic pain, bladder/bowel dysfunction, and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal issues. Essential criteria
- *Diploma / Degree in physiotherapy
- *Current registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- *Experience within the NHS as a Band 5 physiotherapist working in a range of clinical settings, including the musculoskeletal field
Desirable criteria
- *Membership of CSP and specialist interest groups
- *Band 6 experience within the National Health Service.
- *Specialist knowledge across a range of practices, routine and non-routine, requiring expertise within the field of physiotherapy
- *Previous and ongoing attendance of mandatory training
- *Previous and ongoing attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to pelvic health clinical work
- *Evidence of attendance at and delivery of in-service training.
- *CPD portfolio
- *Evidence of active involvement in clinical audit / R&D activity

Job summary
To provide highly specialised assessment and intervention for a varied caseload of outpatients within the speciality of Pelvic Health conditions. This includes patients who may have highly complex presentations such as pelvic pain, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions.
There are permanent (0.65 WTE) and 12-month fixed term/secondment (full-time) posts.
Main duties of the job
Good clinical reasoning and prioritisation skills and demonstrate patient centred practice. You should provide evidence of commitment to ongoing CPD.
Excellent and flexible communication skills including the ability to provide and receive sensitive information and overcome barriers to communication.
Experience of working within the NHS as well as working within a multi-disciplinary team.
