Role summary
This role supports the delivery of high-quality care and rehabilitation for patients recovering from fragility fractures. The Senior Therapy Technical Instructor will work alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Technicians, developing dual competencies in both disciplines. Key responsibilities include managing a patient caseload, facilitating discharge planning, and conducting cognitive assessments under supervision. The post holder will also provide support and education to junior staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English Grade C/4 and above or equivalent or evidence of good literacy
- GCSE Maths Grade C/4 and above or equivalent or evidence of good numeracy
- Meets competency framework for Technical Instructor Band 3 specific to work area

- GCSE Science's Grade C/4 and above
- A Level/NVQ Qualification
- High level of background working in Therapies as a Therapies Technical Instructor
- Excellent organisational skills
- Complex discharge planning
- Relevant Acute hospital experience
