Essential criteria
- Foundation degree (Nutrition Related) or equivalent Diploma/ NVQ 3 plus level
- Nutrition knowledge
- Experience of dealing with people with nutrition related issues in a caring capacity (in a healthcare environment)
- Experience of working as a dietetic assistant
- Evidence of CPD activities
- Evidence of good communication skills - written and verbal
- Evidence of computer keyboard skills
- Evidence of working with different computer software
Desirable criteria
- British Dietetic Association modules for Dietetic support workers/ Dietetic assistants
- Worked with in the NHS in acute setting
- Experience of working with MDT
- Evidence of giving talks/presentations

Job summary
We are looking for a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our forward thinking dietetic team.
You will be involved in providing part of the Dietetic Service within the acute hospital setting with a variety of inpatients on various wards.
You will be provided with regular supervision and CPD opportunities in order to develop your clinical skills. We are committed to improving our patient experience and clinical pathways and there will be opportunities to be involved with both current and new projects within the team.
Good communication skills both written and verbal are required to undertake various tasks regarding admin duties.
