Role summary
This role supports a major digital initiative to transform care delivery at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. As an EPR Delivery Support Officer, you will operate autonomously to establish and run core Programme Support functions. This involves ensuring robust planning, reporting, and governance processes are in place and followed. You will provide vital support to the Programme Manager and workstream leads to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent project management knowledge
Desirable criteria
- oPRINCE2 Practitioner or similar qualification (e.g., APM PMQ)
- Substantial experience working within a RIO EPR Programme PMO
- Experience of maintaining project plans, risk logs, and reports.
- Experience of providing secretariat support to senior meetings.
- Experience of using project management software (e.g., MS Project/ Planner) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in a digital/IT transformation project environment.
- Line management or supervision of junior staff.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of project governance and lifecycle.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and present data clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project/Planner).
- Understanding of NHS structures and project reporting requirements.
- Proactive, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and diplomatic, able to build good working relationships at all levels.
