Role summary

This role is for a Workforce Information Support Officer within the People Systems and Resourcing Team. It involves daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, handling information queries, and updating HR Information systems. The post requires strong Microsoft Excel skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of information governance, working with highly confidential data often reported nationally. The role is based onsite at Airedale General Hospital/Gateway House for a minimum of 80% of the week.

Essential criteria

  • Diploma/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge or experience

  • Technical knowledge in business/administrative processes.
  • Systems knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of the ESR system
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to cope with multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively and meet set deadlines
  • Proven organisational and highly defined communication skills
  • Highly developed and wide ranging IT Skills e.g. Advanced Excel, data manipulation, producing graphs
  • Ability to diagnose problems and propose creative and practical solutions
  • Experience of using ESR Business Intelligence
  • Experience of working across a large complex organisation
  • Experience of communicating both verbally and in writing to Senior Management
  • Experience of preparing reports that communicate complex information in an accessible format

Are you looking for a new challenge?The Workforce Information Team sits within our People Systems and Resourcing Team that comprises of e-rostering/medical rota, recruitment and temporary staffing. We are a friendly, flexible and supportive team and we feel this role is great experience for anyone looking for a career in HR Information or a related field.

This role will be based onsite at Airedale General Hospital/Gateway House (Skipton) and will require the postholder to be on site for a minimum of 80% of the week.

This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.
