Role summary
This role is for an NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the bank pool at West London NHS Trust, working flexible shifts in acute inpatient care services. The post holder will assess care needs, develop and evaluate care programmes, and maintain records. They will also supervise other nursing staff and contribute to service improvement and quality. The position offers experience in acute and forensic units within a diverse environment.
Key responsibilities

Essential criteria
- Registered on NMC register RNMH
- Completion of Preceptorship
- Working within varied mental health settings post registration.
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an MDT
- Demonstrated ability to work within the requirements of the NMC code pf practice
- Experience of working as a student in a health care setting
- An understanding of using essential processes that apply to the specific dimensions of the KSF outline.
- To understand the requirements of the NMC Code of Practice
- Demonstration of a developing knowledge and skill base of psychiatric nursing care
- Ability to promote, monitor and maintain best practice in health safety and security of others.
- Ability to support equality and value diversity.

Main duties of the job
