Role summary
This role is for an experienced Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join the Acute and Vascular Theatre team as a Deputy Team Leader. You will balance hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, coordinating theatre lists, overseeing safety audits, and supporting junior staff. The position requires a strong advocate for patient safety with clear communication skills, ready to help shape the future of the service. You will support the Theatre Coordinator in providing leadership, management, and clinical expertise to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Essential criteria
- Can demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice in relation to theatre setting
- Previous theatre experience minimum of 3 years
- Demonstrate resource management ability
