Role summary

Essential criteria
- NEBOSH Diploma or Post-grad qualification in health and safety
- Appropriate training qualification or willingness to gain
- Degree level knowledge and experience in health, safety and risk theory and practice, achieved through experience of in the healthcare setting and maintained through CPD and research into current best practice and future developments.
- Experience of developing and delivering specialist Health and Safety training in a variety of healthcare settings.
- A full driving licence for the ability to travel throughout the Trust for the efficient delivery of the service

- ROSPA Level 3 Award in Safer People Handling Trainers Qualification

To provide specialist advice in support of the Competent Person inaccordance with the Management of Health and Safety at WorkRegulations, to ensure the Trust complies with all statutorylegislation and NHS requirements. To monitor that actions resulting from audits, inspections andreviews are effectively implemented.
