Role summary
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join their expanding teams on Adult Acute Inpatients wards and the Forensic Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (FPICU) within the Mental Health Directorate. These roles involve providing short-term in-patient management and treatment for individuals experiencing acute mental illness across various wards at Bradgate Mental Health Unit. Successful candidates will work a rota system covering 12-hour shifts, days and nights, across a 7-day working week, with a minimum requirement of 23 hours per week.

We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for experienced Health Care Assistants to come and join our expanding teams on our Adult Acute Inpatients wards and Forensic Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit within the Directorate of Mental Health.
Our Mental Health Services provide voluntary and in-voluntary short-term in-patient management and treatment during an acute phase of mental illness, until the person has recovered enough to be treated effectively and safely in the community.
The vacancies that we have are distributed across various wards at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit in Glenfield and the following information tells you a little bit more about the wards:
We currently have vacancies within 5 of our Adult Acute wards and each ward provides care and treatment for individuals experiencing acute mental health illnesses.
