Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualifying or experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a children's speech and language therapy team. The role involves working across Early Years, mainstream schools, and complex needs services, with sessions allocated based on experience and interest. You will provide universal, targeted, and specialist support to children, young people, and their families, including assessments, interventions, and training for staff and parents. - Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree/Post graduate degree Qualification or equivalent
- Health Professions Council - Licence to Practise

- Relevant experience at undergraduate/post graduate level
- Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills - including observation, listening and empathy skills

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualifying or an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing children's speech and language therapy team.
Main duties of the job
We have opportunities to work across the service including Early Years, mainstream schools and complex needs. Your role will involve working across no more than two parts of the service. Sessions will be allocated depending on experience and interest.
Within the Schools Team, the caseload is varied, split between delivering a core service and a buy in service into the schools. There are opportunities within pre-school, primary and secondary settings where we work in close partnership with school staff to provide a 3 tier model of universal, targeted and specialist support for children, young people and their families. Training for school staff and families is a crucial part of the service we deliver.
Within the Early Years service you will be seeing children within clinics and nurseries. We deliver 1-1 dynamic assessments/ intervention and provide parent workshops and groups in our Family hubs and Children's centres.
