Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic Podiatrist to join a friendly and progressive team, building and maintaining clinical skills across the entire podiatry service. Job summary
We
are seeking an enthusiastic podiatrist to join our friendly, progressive
and supportive podiatry team.This role is designed to offer a podiatrist
the opportunity to continue to build and maintain their clinical skillset
within a structured and supported environment across the whole podiatry service.
The
podiatry service operates mainly from a central hub at Surbiton Health Centre
where we operate a multi-chair clinic alongside several other community-based
health services.This ensures that all podiatrists in the team are very well
supported and can access multidisciplinary working across other health
professions such as lower limb and physiotherapy.This offers a unique learning
opportunity across our community health services.We work closely with our
district nursing and tissue viability colleagues ensuring our patients receive
multidisciplinary care delivered in the community.
Working
within this setting means you will never be working alone.Combined with a
preceptorship, there will be quarterly one to ones, clinical supervision
sessions, interdepartmental meetings, protected time for continued professional
development and annual appraisal.Our service covers nail surgery under local
anaesthesia, biomechanics with orthoses provision, core podiatry and high-risk
foot care with wound care.Our biomechanics service is fortunate to be able to
