Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Administrator to join the research team. You will provide administrative support to delivery teams across various specialities, primarily based at one location but with potential travel to other sites. Key duties include creating and maintaining site files for clinical trials, assisting with database maintenance, and managing shared email inboxes. The post holder will navigate Excel and data management systems, developing skills in clinical trial conduct according to ICH-GCP guidelines.
Essential criteria
- Maths and English GCSE at grade C/4 administrative experience
Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 2 Administration or equivalent
- GCP training or willingness to undertake
- Significant experience of Administration/secretarial experience
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office Programmes
- Working with databases, inputting information in accurate and timely manner
- Relevant experience working in an NHS environment
- Maintenance of accurate records and filing systems
- Knowledge/ understanding of Data Protection
- Experience of using NHS systems
- Knowledge of research processes
- Experience of organising/booking meetings and minute taking
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Knowledge/ understanding of ICH GCP
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Coordination of patient and public projects
- Key skills/abilities
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
- Ability to understand and adhere to policy and procedyre
- Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job summary
Our research team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill the role of research administrator.
As a Research administrator you will support the delivery teams across specialities as required. The post holder will contribute to the provision of clinical research services based normally at one location. However, travel to other sites may be necessary as per study requirements.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Administrator is to provide administrative support to the research team.
