Role summary
This bank opportunity is for a qualified and experienced Mental Health Nurse to run a depot clinic across two sites in Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. The role involves working in a supportive multi-disciplinary setting with patients experiencing mental health difficulties. You will be responsible for patient safety, clinical advice, urgent assessments, and crisis management. The position requires independent travel across the locality.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse / health professional with current registration appropriate to the job role
- Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB / professional equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Knowledge/Experience
- Significant post qualifying experience in the relevant care group (mental health or neurodevelopmental)
- Experience of working alongside people with complex health problems in the designated care group
- Experience of supervising staff
- Experience of providing a range of clinical interventions to people in the designated care group with a variety of health problems
- Experience of working consultatively with professionals
- Experience of conducting clinical assessments including risk assessments
- Experience of partnership working within and across various statutory and non statutory teams and agencies
- Experience of working within the CPA process
- Understanding of clinical governance
- Previous experience of working in the community

Qualified Nurse
The Arun Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams are looking for a qualified and experienced Mental Health Nurse, who has a keen interest in working in a supportive multi-disciplinary setting with patients experiencing mental health difficulties, to run the depot clinic across two sites. This is a bank opportunity.
The usual hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm; with 2 days in Littlehampton and 3 days in Bognor Regis.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
You will be joining a warm, friendly, highly supportive team of dedicated colleagues who work together to offer the best possible service to the people we see.

- To maintain patient safety, in collaboration with patients, carers and other team members
