Role summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator to join the CWP Adult Eating Disorders Service in Stockport. This part-time role, 15 hours per week over 2 days, involves providing high-quality administrative support to clients and clinicians. The successful candidate will handle electronic patient records, manage emails, organise appointments, and provide a welcoming and compassionate approach to service users. The admin team is highly valued and receives monthly supervision and business meetings to support their development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high quality supportive administrative duties to clients living with an Eating Disorder.
  • Manage electronic filing and update electronic patient records.
  • Monitor and respond to service email inbox, send and receive letters.
  • Take meeting minutes, handle dictation, and organise appointments.
  • Utilise Excel spreadsheets and operate printer/scanner.
  • Act as a reliable link between clinicians and patients through letters and phone calls.

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of good typing skills e.g. RSA III/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent

  • Knowledge and Expertise
  • Working knowledge of software programmes e.g. Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
  • Audio typing skills
  • Minute/note taking experience
  • Experience of providing secretarial/administrative duties
  • Experience of working in a health environment
  • Experience of working as a member of a team in an office environment
  • Experience of general finance systems
  • Experience of processes and procedures within this service area
  • Experience of supporting the organisation of seminars, conferences, workshops etc.

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new team administrator role to join the existing team in CWP Adult Eating Disorders Service; 0.4, 15 hours per week over 2 days WTE Team Administrator in Stockport, based at Hall Lodge Eating Disorders Service.

The successful candidate will provide a high quality supportive role to clients living with an Eating Disorder.

In Stockport Eating Disorders Service we consider our admin team key to the ability of our clinicians to support our patients. They are a valued part of our structure. You will receivemonthly high quality supervision to support people in their role and career aspirations. We try very hard to understand the difficulties and pressures working for an admin team within a complex clinical area like eating disorders. We also offer a monthly business meeting as an arena to discuss with our team anything that will improve our service .

Within the team you will be working alongside an experienced administrator who will support you in your role and a group of friendly clinicians who have lots of experience working with this group of patients.

The successful candidate will bring an organised and compassionate approach to their working life.
