This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis in Sefton. The service supports individuals aged 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis, guiding them from triage and assessment through to interventions and recovery over a three-year period. - Demonstrate a good knowledge of the Code of Conduct and the nurse's responsibility to identify gaps in their knowledge base.
- Demonstrate knowledge in the concepts of mentorship, preceptorship and supervision.

- Experience of working with a range of people with mental health problems

Job summary
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a caring and committed Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to work within Early Intervention Team for Psychosis Sefton.
The service works with people between the ages of 14 - 65 who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.
We are looking for a registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our team. You will be involved in the patient journey from triage, assessment through to offering interventions and supporting service users to recover from psychosis over a 3 year period.
The service delivers both managerial supervision and clinical supervision from specialist staff. There is in-house training on all aspects of the service including psychological formulation, Family Interventions, CBT skills and assessment skills. Mersey Care also has an active Learning and development team who offer personal, clinical and service development opportunities.
Main duties of the job
Early Intervention Team Sefton works with service users who present with a first episode of psychosis and is a busy and skilled multi-disciplinary group, which actively promotes close partnership working within the wider community.
