Role summary
This role is for a Community Paediatric Dietitian within Children's Services at Sutton Health and Care. The post holder will manage the nutrition and dietetic care for community paediatric clients registered with a Sutton GP. You will provide dietetic services to children with general requirements in various settings, including clinics, schools, and homes. This autonomous role involves close collaboration with other professionals and families.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Dietetics/Post graduate qualifications
- Experience in Paediatrics dietetics
- HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
- BDA member
- Member of BDA paeds group
- Significant years of post qualification experience with appropriate experience in paediatric dietetics or community dietetics
- Understanding of the importance of effective multidisciplinary working
- Experience of audit and research
- Experience in training others
- Knowledge and skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic IT Skills: word, email, internet
- Knowledge of basic audit and quality tools
- Understanding of enteral feeding in children
- Knowledge and skills
- Ability to deliver presentations and training as required
- Qualifications and experience
