Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Staff Nurse to join the established and highly motivated multidisciplinary team on Ward 1 at Broadgreen Hospital. The role is part-time and is suitable for both newly qualified nurses and those with more experience, offering a supportive environment for developing clinical competence. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care within a regional Complex Rehabilitation Unit, focusing on patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
- Diploma in Nursing
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship/teaching qualification
- Post registration qualification in relevant specialty
- Post registration experience and successful completion of band 5 foundation gateway competencies Recent acute hospital experience [including as a student nurse]
- Experience within relevant clinical setting
- Evidence of maintaining a clinical learning environment.
- Evidence of working with students
- Recent acute hospital experience [including as a student nurse]
- Knowledge of current nursing issues and clinical governance
- Demonstrates awareness of own limitations
- Ability to organise workload and delegate tasks appropriately
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to support less experienced staff
- Ability to problem solve
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic IT skills, including e-mail and word processing

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broadgreen Hospital Liverpool for dynamic Staff Nurses to join our established team of highly motivated and committed MDT on Ward 1.
Ward 1 has recently maintained their PLATINUM standard in LQA assessment for the 2nd time.
We are looking to employ a part time Band 5 registered Nurse.
The ward areas offer a supportive working environment alongside opportunities to develop individual clinical competence.
It is an excellent ward to learn if you are starting your nursing career and to continue to develop your knowledge base, if you have more experience.
Providing high quality nursing care within the unit the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, team working skills and dedicated to improving the patients experience.
You will need to demonstrate continuing professional development and a strong commitment to develop others and work closely within a Multi-disciplinary team.
