Key responsibilities

Job summary

The Cancer Data Project Manager is a 12-month

fixed-term position. The post holder will work closely with members of the

Cancer Services team and site-specific multidisciplinary teams to deliver a

programme of data quality and service improvement projects.

The role is responsible for planning, managing

and delivering a broad portfolio of data-driven projects across Cancer

Services, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through to

implementation and evaluation. This includes the development of project

documentation, recommendations and sustainable data solutions to support

service improvement and cancer metrics.

Using advanced technical knowledge of

information management, data analysis and interrogation, the Cancer Data

Project Manager will plan and develop new data reporting solutions.

The post holder will lead a small project team,

providing professional leadership, direction and support to ensure the

successful delivery of project objectives and agreed outcomes.

The role requires a proactive, flexible and
