Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex projects across data governance, data platforms and analytics, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to agreed objectives.
- Drive business process mapping and service design, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation and ways of working across DII.
- Support the Head of PMO & Function Support in strengthening PMO capability, governance, reporting and delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including delivery plans, RAID logs and governance reporting for senior forums.
- Apply and adapt delivery methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile (Scrum), to suit project complexity.
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
- Formal training in programme and project management e.g., Scrum Master or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Project Manager delivering complex projects
- Evidence of using project documentation such as RAID logs, Plans and Reporting
- Strong leadership skills
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development
- NHS and Public Sectors experience
- Agile/Scrum/Waterfall project methodology experience
