Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day delivery of the aseptic dispensing service, ensuring efficient and safe use of resources and timely preparation of medications.
- Organize and manage aseptic services to guarantee products meet intended use, resources are utilized effectively, and products are delivered promptly.
- Collaborate with the Aseptic Services Accountable Pharmacist to provide professional expertise and ensure services comply with Section 10 Exemption and National Standards.
- Implement and oversee training programs in aseptic preparation to ensure staff perform duties safely, consistently, and efficiently.
- Lead project and development work within the aseptic dispensing service, fostering continuous improvement and adherence to high standards.
Essential criteria
- Vocational Pharmacy Master'sDegree (4 years) + 1 year pre-registration training
- Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy at diploma level or similar
- Pharmacist registered with General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist.
- Demonstrates ongoing CPD relevant to the role.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of SACTs/CIVAs/PN services and related pharmacological therapies

- Proven record of recognising opportunities to develop or improve a service area for

Job summary
Are you keen to develop your technical knowledge as well as your clinical and leadership skills in an acute hospital setting? Why not come and join our friendly, supportive aseptic team. We are currently offering a long term RRP of £3k per year for this role.
At Salisbury we are committed to developing our team members as well as our services. Some experience and knowledge of Aseptic Services is required however both in-house and externally recognised training will be given to the successful candidate. You will be supported by a range of experienced technical and clinical pharmacy team members to develop your professional knowledge and skills.
There is also the opportunity to develop your post-graduate knowledge in Technical Services through completion of the Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance course.
