Role summary
The Estates Carpenter will join the Workplace Team on a permanent basis, maintaining and improving environments for patients and staff. Essential criteria
- BTEC/City&Guilds or equivalent training to minimum level 3 plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience

- Fire Door inspection qualification and experience
- Health & Safety Qualification
- Knowledge and experience
- oExperience of multi skilled building fabric/carpentry trades acquired through training / experience
- oExperienced in the use of IT based control systems
- oEvidence of recent and relevant CPD
- oExperience in fire door maintenance and repair
- oKnowledge / awareness of asbestos, water, electrical and mechanical safety
- oHolds a current driving licence
- oExperience of maintenance and repair of commercial/public properties or similar and equipment
- Knowledge of works within hospital environments
- Knowledge of NHS Technical Guidance
