Role summary
This role involves delivering a specialist community physiotherapy service to children aged 0-19 in Bexley, managing a varied caseload including musculoskeletal, neurological, and neurodivergent conditions. Essential criteria

- HCPC registration

- Membership of special interest group relating to Paediatrics
- Membership of professional body - Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Relevant experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level, 2 years minimum post registration, including Paediatric experience
- Experience supervising junior members of staff
- Experience of working in a variety of clinical settings, including community
- Previous Band 6 experience
- Experience working with children in Special Schools or with complex needs
- Experience working with neurodivergence
- Experience of working with children in any area (not necessarily health care
- Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of Physio process and knowledge of Physio assessments and interventions relevant to clinical area
- Ability to work autonomously, set own priorities and manage time effectively
- Core Physiotherapy skills obtained in a Band 5 Role or equivalent
- Evidence of caseload management
- Ability to be clear and concise when documenting information

Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Physiotherapist to join our team to provide a community service to children in Bexley between the ages of 0-19 years. The caseload will be mixed, to include musculoskeletal (5 - 16 yrs old), rheumatology, orthopaedics, developmental coordination disorder, baby and gait clinics, complex neurological conditions and children who are neurodivergent.
The service provides community Physiotherapy for children within the Borough of Bexley in line with current health, education and social care policies, and with the national service framework for children. Services will be provided across health, education and community care settings in order to deliver great out of hospital care. This post will also specifically deliver care into a variety of educational settings at secondary and primary level.
We work as an integrated team, working closely with our multi-disciplinary team members and key partner agencies. Our aim is to provide a child centred, needs led service based on partnership working.
