Role summary
This role involves preparing and assembling prescriptions accurately, ensuring correct packaging and adherence to standard operating procedures. You will manage the timely supply of out-of-stock medications, communicate delays, and counsel patients on their dispensed medications. The position also requires providing information and advice to nursing and medical staff on drug usage and availability, and receiving deliveries from suppliers.

- Experience/knowledge of the principles of stock control
- Computer literate including Microsoft software products

- Experience of working in an NHS hospital environment
- Previous assessable experience/understanding of JAC Pharmacy computer system
- Previous experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting
