University Hospital Southampton
NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer opportunities to work with us in our
Theatre Recovery department. We are looking for friendly enthusiastic
individuals to join our dynamic and highly skilled team. We welcome applications from Paediatric and Adult
Registered Nurses and RODPs, specialist training will be given to enable all
successful candidates to work across all areas of recovery.
We operate a 24/7 service
Our recovery team currently has
around 107 WTE members of registered staff, from varying international
backgrounds.
We have 45 beds and work across 6
recovery areas covering multiple specialities. Paediatric
and Adult patients are cared for in these areas.
Our staff are recognised for their
hard work and dedication in patient care, and the department has received
multiple awards.
The successful candidates will be
expected to cover a range of shifts, inclusive of early/middle/lates/twilight
and night shifts across 7 days a week.
Main duties of the job
This role requires you to provide
outstanding care to both adults and children including for children their
parents/carers in the post-operative phase, across a range of specialities.We care for patients across the lifespan.
