Role summary
This is a fixed-term, part-time opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work as an Advanced Practitioner in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The role involves providing specialist assessment, intervention, and advice for children with communication and/or swallowing difficulties in community settings. You will manage a complex caseload, contribute to supervision and training, and support service development within a supportive team.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Health And Care Professions Council Registered Speech and Language Therapist
- Significant experience in the clinical specialism including assessment and management of communication disorders
- Supporting service users, families and carers in dealing with the impact of communication difficulties
- Experience of implementing best practice and ability to carry out clinical audit
Desirable criteria
- Experience of training and development of other Speech and Language Therapists / support staff

We offer dysphagia, communication, and voice assessment and intervention, supported by strong leadership and compassionate management.
