Role summary
This role involves providing specialist expertise and regional coordination for CAMHS ID services across NHS Borders, NHS Fife, and NHS Lothian. The primary goal is to enhance local capacity for delivering effective, evidence-based care through consultation, formulation support, and targeted assessment/intervention advice. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team and liaise with various health and social care partners to improve access, reduce challenging behaviours, and prevent out-of-area placements for children and young people with intellectual disabilities.
