Job summary

The Occupational Therapist is a key member of the community mental health psychosis pathway, supporting service users to develop or regain independence and improve their quality of life. The post focuses on enabling recovery through occupational therapy interventions that promote daily living skills, social participation, vocational engagement, and the development of meaningful routines and roles.

The post holder will contribute to the development and delivery of occupational therapy within the pathway, providing specialist assessment and intervention on both an individual and group basis. A central aspect of the role will be supporting the ongoing development, delivery, and evaluation of the borough-wide occupational therapy group programme.

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nursing, psychology, psychiatry, and social care colleagues, to ensure coordinated, holistic care that reflects the full range of service users' needs and recovery goals.
