Job summary

Supply chain Operative At JR site working Monday to Friday 5 day service, Working Closely with Clinical staff and other member of the supply chain team.

To provide an efficient and responsive Receipt, Distribution and Inventory/Materials Management service to wards and departments across the clinical site.

The post holder will ensure deliveries are processed accurately, stock is replenished in line with agreed levels, and materials are available to support safe and effective patient care.

The role forms part of a small, agile Supply Chain team and requires a flexible and responsible approach to work.

Main duties of the job

The Operational team based at the John Radcliffe Hospital requires a Supply chain operative.

  • Receive, unload and check deliveries in accordance with Trust procedures.
  • Accurately record goods received using manual and electronic systems.
  • Investigate and report delivery discrepancies to the Supply Chain Supervisor.
  • Distribute goods to wards and departments in a timely manner, including same-day delivery where required.
