Role summary
This role is for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse within the Adult Community Mental Health Services in Dacorum. The successful candidate will undertake assessments, formulate care plans, and administer medication, working within a multi-disciplinary team. It offers opportunities for professional development and contributes to improving service user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Carry a clinical caseload and act as the lead practitioner for a group of service users.
- Undertake comprehensive personalised care and support needs and risk assessments.
- Administer prescribed medication or supervise its administration and assess for effects.
- Maintain robust clinical records and prepare reports.
- Comply with relevant mental health and work-related legislation and policy.
Essential criteria
- RMN or Dip / BSc (Hons) in Mental Health Nursing
- ENB 998 / Preceptorship and Mentorship.

- ENB 812/Bsc in Specialist Community Nursing Practice (Mental Health)

- Post registration experience at Band 5 level or equivalent
