Role summary
This role is for an Epic Credentialed Trainer (Junior IT Trainer) within the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Implementation Programme at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. You will deliver high-quality digital training for the Trust's Epic system, supporting staff to confidently use the system for safer patient care. The role involves designing, developing, delivering, and administering blended learning solutions, as well as providing helpdesk support and maintaining training materials. You will work across various clinical and non-clinical settings, including classrooms and wards, and may be required to work flexibly.
Essential criteria
- Degree or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Knowledge of clinical pathways, processes and best practices at LGT or partner organisations.
Desirable criteria
- Epic experience as a trainer or end user.
- Teaching or training qualification E.g: LPI/TPMA/COLF
- Previous Experience
- Delivering training in formal or informal facilitated learning to healthcare staff.
- Creating and maintaining training resources and/or user support materials.
- Experience of Learning Management System (LMS), administration and compliance monitoring.
- Experience developing eLearning content.
- Epic Credentialed Trainer status.
- Helpdesk/service desk ticket management.
- Skills/ Knowledge/ Ability
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills including accuracy and attention to details.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of current legislative requirements and codes of practice regarding FOI, Data Protection Act and Information Governance
- Excellent communication including written and verbal channels, and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge and understanding of the full ADDIE lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of an Acute Trust's clinical and corporate administrative systems.
