Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Manchester Case Management (MCM) team as an Administrator. You will provide effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to Community Health and Integrated Neighbourhood teams. The role involves general office duties, referral management, telephone enquiries, and appointment booking. Key responsibilities

  • Provide effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to Community Health and Integrated Neighbourhood teams.
  • Coordinate and implement office procedures, requiring strong organisational skills and knowledge of administrative systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact, requiring clear communication and liaison skills.
  • Work as part of a team at a community base and provide cross cover at other bases.
  • Liaise closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent service delivery.

  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Evidence of recent further development / training to NVQ 3 level.

  • Knowledge of Patient Administration systems e.g. EMIS/HIVE.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within and office environment
  • Experience of working with the NHS in a support role.
  • Personal attributes/abilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
  • Adaptable with a flexible approach to work and working hours.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly at various locations in the service.
  • Ability to travel between various locations in the community.

Job summary
