Role summary
The Elective Reform Commissioning Support Manager will manage projects supporting the delivery of commissioning and performance elective care services. This role involves leading project planning, delivery, and reporting to ensure projects meet time, quality, and cost objectives. Job summary
The Elective Reform Commissioning Support Manager is responsible for managing defined projects that support the delivery of the commissioning and performance elective care services. Working within an agreed framework, the post holder will lead project planning, delivery and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered to time, quality and cost.
The role requires strong analytical, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across teams and partner organisations to support the successful implementation of strategy in line with national policy, system priorities and organisational objectives.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for commissioning and performance of individual elective care services in line with ICB and national strategies and policies and using an MDT approach
- Lead on development of defined areas of the strategy, needs assessments, commissioning policies, commissioning intentions and planning processes in those defined areas, working across the elective care team
- Ensure the services being commissioned in the defined portfolio meet the needs of residents in KM, working closely with a wide range of colleagues to ensure integration.
