Role summary
This role is for an experienced Band 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientist with a focus on paediatric audiology, joining a friendly team in Windsor and East Berkshire. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation services for both adults and children, including specialist paediatric assessments. Essential criteria
- BSc. in Audiological Science
- HCPC CS / AHCS registration
Desirable criteria
- MSc. in Audiological Science and have successfully attained the CAC, HTS, STP (or equivalent)
- Study to doctorate level
- Continuous Professional Development
- Evidence of current CPD
- Advanced course/s in Audiology or Management
- Mentoring/coaching/leadership qualification or training
- Previous Experience
- Demonstrable post-qualification experience working autonomously in both adult & paediatric testing in both diagnostic & rehabilitative areas.
- Good knowledge and experience of NHS networks/referral routes.
- Experience of clinical audit and service development
- Have evidence of management/supervisory experience
- Mentoring/coaching/leadership qualification or training
- Evidence of research and presentations at a scientific forum
- Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Knowledge of all standard and advanced audiological test procedures with specialist knowledge in paediatric and/or vestibular fields.

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Band 7 Audiologist/Clinical Scientist with an interest in paediatric audiology to join our friendly and established team of healthcare scientists. Based primarily in Windsor, you will also provide care at services across East Berkshire, including Slough, Maidenhead and Bracknell.
Our Audiology Department provides a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation service for both adults and children. This role offers the opportunity to work with a varied caseload, including patients with complex needs, and to play a key role in delivering specialist paediatric assessments. You will work closely with ENT and multidisciplinary colleagues, to provide the highest standard of personalised, evidence-based care.
The successful candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in Audiology (or equivalent), be HCPC or AHCS registered (or eligible), and have significant post-qualification experience, including expertise in paediatric diagnostic audiology and managing complex cases.
