Role summary

Job summary
We have 2 vacancies for Band 3 HCA's to join the team on Day case unit at Broadgreen. These are Full Time Positions 37.5hrs per week.
This is a great opportunity to join the team to support a new enhanced treatment room and to work on the well established day case unit.We are looking for experienced HCA's with NVQ Level 3 to join the nursing team. Based at an excellent established and friendly facility on the Broadgreen site. Broadgreen has excellent staff facilities with onsite parking available. Close to the M62, with good bus and train services nearby.

Main duties of the job
Admitting planned surgical and orthopaedic patients.
Preparing patients for theatre.
Post-Operative care of patients (under the supervision of Registered Nurse) who have undergone surgery.
Assist patients in meeting their hygiene needs and carry out all aspects of personal care and grooming
Recording of patients observations. General observations of patients, reporting anything untoward to Registered Nursing Staff.
Documentation of care plans on PENS
Preparation and serving of patient's meals, drinks and snacks. Assisting / feeding patients as n
