Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Psychosis team as a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse. The role involves providing high quality nursing care, assessment, and treatment to clients experiencing mental ill health within the psychosis pathway. The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive Community Mental Health Nursing Service in collaboration with other agencies, requiring independent work and partnership skills. The team offers strong clinical support, supervision, and multidisciplinary teamwork, welcoming innovation and encouraging professional development.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable post registration experience as an RMN
- Professional experience of working in mental health services
- Experience of MDT working
- Skills in coordinating and planning interagency approaches in mental health care.
- Experience of assessing and managing risk
- Working with the MHA and MCA Experience of working in a community service
Desirable criteria
- -Experience of working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
- -Experience of working at Band 6 level
- -Experience of delivering evidence-based treatments
- Ability to use initiative and work without immediate supervision
- Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework for mental health services, particularly the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act & NICE Guidelines.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding, empathic approach
- Skills in co-ordinating and planning interagency approaches in mental health care
- Excellent report-writing skills IT skills
- Ability to work as part of a multiprofessional team
- -Excellent assessment skills- communication skills, establishing a rapport, focusing on gathering pertinent information, probing questions and ability to assimilate within your mental health knowledge to agree an appropriate outcome and plan

Job summary
This really is an exciting time to join the Psychosis team, we have recently reviewed the community directorate and have undergone a community remodel. The Psychosis Team includes 4 pathways: Assertive Outreach, Psychosis, Early Intervention in Psychosis, and At Risk Mental State. This role will primarily be within the psychosis pathway. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated, who ideally have experience of working with individuals with a range of mental health problems, particularly with psychosis.
We offer strong clinical support, supervision and multidisciplinary teamwork. We pride ourselves on being a supportive team that welcomes innovation.
The Trust has a well-established appraisal and supervision structure and actively encourages continual professional development.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (some flexibility required) and excluding bank holidays. Due to the large geographical area of North Lincs, it is essential that applicants are able to efficiently and effectively move around the area to deliver the interventions in a timely manner
